Cards
My thoughts never wrapped around not giving someone a card on a specific occasion. Whether it is a birthday card or even just a thank you card, I think a card could and should always be involved.
I have always enjoyed being creative and being surrounded by materials. Either its trying new supplies, mixing different colours, or creating a new project, it has always been delightful and purposeful.
When an event came around I had always made my cards handmade, never bought them. I found it more meaningful for the consumer but also myself. Making them also allowed me to express what I want to pursue.
Not just on occasions or holidays I would make cards but also on my free time. I always had extra! At one point I had so much so I thought ‘I should offer these cards to people for their own use!’
Each card of mine has been customised to meet your personal style. They have been created for each and everyone of you! From specific colours, materials, textures and more, I guarantee they are made for you!
Using different things to create special cards is always enjoyable for me! I look forward to supplying you with leaving people with a smile all from a card!
Candles
I had never made a candle before. I had no experience with it. I had never thought of it. Nothing about it. But, one summer I had got the idea to try it out! I constantly watched videos and researched and I got everything I had needed. After all, it seemed like I knew everything all along.
When I first started making candles, my signature scent was lavender and I think it probably still is. I have always loved the lavender flower, walking in lavender fields, and spraying lavender room spray. Plus, by using lavender to start off with, I felt I could add highlights like lavender flowers or purple crystals.
Recently I have explored different scents, candle shapes, and highlights that pair with the candle. I love adding highlights that match with the scent. It creates more texture and layers to the candle.
Now, more shapes and sizes have come about and I love to find the ones I like. I love making candles because it allows me to experiment, try new things, and open up.
Having candles lit and around me makes me into a better mood. They bring comfort and happiness to me. You can’t never have too much candles in your home!
A candle can also be a perfect go-to gift. The consumer won’t ever not be happy with a candle.
After all these reasons I thought of making my own candles. If so, I can make them unique and be creative to meet each and everyones different styles of you and your spaces. Each one is made with love and happiness!

Our Story
Mica, Janet and Mateo met while pursuing their Masters degrees in fine arts. Propelled by their mutual love for craftsmanship and attention to detail, they collaborated on everything from public art pieces to a five-star restaurant.
In 2016, they set their sights on the world of skincare. Unhappy with the offerings of mass-produced products, they knew there had to be a better way. Within a year they launched Salt+Less with the groundbreaking Skin Creme, and quickly expanded to a full suite of skincare creations.
They now live in Brooklyn balancing life, work and dog care.
